The Department media processing acquires and licenses all kinds of media, information and data for research and teaching at the University of Konstanz like:.
- the acquisition of physical media (books, loose-leaf collections, journals, DVDs, etc.)
- licensing and making available electronic media (eJournals, eBooks, databases, etc.)
- making recordings from radio and television
- listing purchased or licensed media in the library catalog, KonSearch, union catalogs, and other reference systems
- storing and referencing the publications of scientists of the University of Konstanz in our repository KOPS
- support of open access publications
