Extended library services: Ordering library materials for collection available from 14th May

On the 13th of May the rectorate approved the next step to improving literature provision at the University.
Ordering library materials will be available via the library catalogue.  In the title information, you will see an additional button "Titel zur Abholung bestellen". Authenticate yourself with your data (01/... or 03/... including password).

Please note the following conditions, which are in effect due to limited on-site operations:

Collection times:
Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail as soon as your ordered items are available for collection.
You do not need to bring the collection mail with you.
Borrowing pre-ordered items can be done via the self-service machines.

Change to library entrance:
The library will not be accessible via the usual entrance.
Access is only available via a temporary entrance in the so-called “Stangengarten”.
Please follow signage from the main entrance to the University (I-Punkt).

Health Protection:
Access will be controlled by security and will be restricted to a maximum of 10 library users at any one time.
You are required to disinfect your hands when entering the library information centre. Disinfectant is provided.
You must always wear a face mask whilst in the library.
Please keep in mind social distancing rules.

Only Borrowing and Returns:
The library is not available as a study space.
The only services available are the borrowing of pre-ordered items and the returning of items.
All items which would usually be available for loan are available to be ordered and collected.
Items will not be recalled during this time. Borrowed books do not yet need to be returned.

Further provision of literature
The scan service KonDoc will continue to be available to staff and students and ordering of items for delivery will be available to staff.
