Movebank Data Repository: Data Migration to DSpace 7
The Movebank Data Repository was successfully migrated to DSpace 7. This repository now runs on a stable and state-of-the-art software.
The Movebank Data Repository is the formal archiving service of the Movebank research data infrastructure, hosted by the KIM of the University of Konstanz. The repository complements Movebank's flexible tools for sharing, managing and analysing animal movement data along the research data lifecycle and enables the publication of research datasets and analysis workflows for long-term archiving, re-use and citation.
The update to the new software offers a wide range of possible future developments to improve usability, data curation, findability and re-usability in line with the FAIR principles.
