KIM oversees projects - often together with other partners - with the aim of promoting new innovations and developments.
Even KIM's previous institutions, the library and computer center, supported numerous projects to advance new developments.
Many of these projects culminated in "products" that are in use today, including KOPS, the Blended Shelf, Campus Management, and many others.
And KIM itself has successfully completed numerous projects to date and has often been able to acquire follow-on projects.
