Available search categories include signature, title, person, entity, uniform title, keyword and genre/form. All data can be searched using our full-text search (“000 Alle Kategorien”), which will also yield results for names and terms (comment field). If you want to show all available results for a particular bequest, simply enter the philosopher's initials into the “099 Signatur” category, e.g. OB for Oskar Becker.
If the date of the material is important to you, you should note the following: The catalogue records are in USMARC format and comply with AACR2 (Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules 2). Accordingly, the dates that appear in fields f (including date) or g (date by frequency of occurrence) of the title field are dates that were created by the person who made the record, not dates taken directly from the originals (such as from notes left on folders).
