The KIM serviceportfolio, introduced in April 2022 replaced the previous service catalogue

Version V00.04 is valid and available here.

In order to see the KIM internal version, please first log in to "my university" at the top right.

Release note for V00.04 (most important changes to V00.03):
- d.3 (d.velop) replaces Alfresco One as document management system as of 01.01.2024 (chapter 7.1.5.4)
- PLANTA projects introduced as an additional project management tool (section 6.5)
- bwCard as an employee ID card with chip functions will be introduced in September 2023 - printing and issuing will take place at KIM Beratung (section 4.2.2)
- In the IT Services Administrative Processes department, the previous IT Workstations Front+Backend department will become the Support and Back Office Management department, thus combining all KIM support areas in one department.

The Communication, Information, Media Centre (KIM) is responsible for coordinating, planning, managing and operating communication technology, digital information processing and media supply at the university. All services offered are indispensable components of studying, teaching, research and university administration.

The serviceportfolio lists all KIM services that users can access directly.
In addition, there is an overview of software products and web-based applications and thrid party services at the end, as well as an explanation of other IT-terms.
In this way, the portfolio as a whole services to increase visibility and transparency and provides users with a complete overview.
