Microsoft 365 Apps (formerly called Office 365 ProPlus)
For students and employees of the University of Konstanz there is an offer for the private use of Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus. You can obtain this via bildung365.de.
Requirement: You are a student or employee at the University of Konstanz
Costs: free for students, 4,39 € for employee
Services:
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, Skype for Business and Access (Publisher, Access not for Mac)
- 5 installations per user on PC or Mac - can be used locally or offline
- Additional 5 installations on mobile devices like tablets and smartphones
- Free updates
- You can manually enable other services in Office 365 such as OneDrive (instructions: see this link)
Extension:
- After the 365 days have expired, you must purchase the software package again via bildung365.de
- no new installation necessary
System requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 10 or later; Mac OS X 10.10 or later, iPad iOS 8 or later; Android 4.4 or later
- Computer and processor: 86- or 64-bit processor with 1 GHz or faster and SSE2 instruction set (PC), Intel processor (Mac)
- Memory: 2 GB RAM (PC) and 4 GB RAM (Mac)
- Hard disk: 3 GB available hard disk space (PC); 6 GB HFS+ hard disk format (Mac)
- Display: Monitor with a resolution of 1024 x 768 (PC) or 1280 x 800 (Mac) or higher
- Graphics: For graphics hardware acceleration a DirectX10 capable graphics card with a resolution of 1024 x 576 is required on the PC
- Browser: current versions of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Chrome, or Firefox
- Others: Internet functions require an Internet connection

For students of the University of Konstanz there is also an offer for the private use of Microsoft 10 Education including Medium. You can obtain this from bildung365.de.
