LaTeX - an alternative to Word

This course will provide you with the knowledge required during your studies. Particular emphasis is placed on various techniques for writing an academic paper or thesis (term papers, bachelor’s and master’s thesis, Diplom).

We will use Windows, using the MiKTeX 2.9.5105 distribution, the LaTeX editor TeXMaker and the TeXnicCenter 1.0 user interface. The knowledge you acquire in this course will also be useful when working with other operating systems and versions
